Monarch's in the Movies

Creekside Chat

Many will have the seen the excellent documentary about the flight path of the Monarch butterfly; Flight of the Butterflies (2012)www.youtube.com/watch. If you haven't seen it we encourage you to do so sometime. In the meantime, we thought you might enjoy the filmmaking prowess of our own Teresa Everett who created 3 short movies documenting the life of our Western Monarch Butterfly a few years ago. They are very informative and fun, so gather the family of all ages and enjoy. You can see them feeding their favorite plant, our native Narrowleaf Milkweed, Asclepias fascicularis. See the eggs hatch here; www.facebook.com/pg/MoosaCreekNursery/videos/, undergo metamorphosis www.facebook.com/pg/MoosaCreekNursery/videos/ and take flight www.facebook.com/pg/MoosaCreekNursery/videos/
