Plant Highlights

Purple Nightshade is a 2 to 3 foot high perennial that produces large purple floers with small grenn and white centers. The plant has a large leaf, open growing habit and produces green fruits that are similar to tomatoes, but toxic. The plant needs little water, but could use some in the winter to keep the leaves looking healthy. The plant also does well in edges of landscapes or in decorative containers, but use caution as it spreads when planted in open soil.
