Plant Highlights

The "Roger's Red" variety of California Grape is more resistant to Pierces Disease and produces a higher yield of berries in the fall. The leaves are larger than the wild variety and turn a darker red in the fall. The vine needs a little more water, but yields are more pronounced and fuller. The flowers are a pale yellow and are frequented by bees and other pollinators. It does well in full sun, with a decent amount of moisture in the summer months.
