Plant Highlights

This spikerush has erect, bright green stems and grows naturally in moist areas and would be a great plant to put on the edge of a pond, marsh, or vernal pool. It stays green all winter and has attractive delicate seed heads. It is an ideal choice for that part of the yard which has poor drainage and is unsuitable for other natives. It spreads by rhizomes and needs the space to spread.
