Plant Highlights

This trailing perennial has a fragrant foliage that smells like mint. It produces profuse reddish purple flowers and is highly attractive to butterflies. One quick sniff of the foliage and you will know that this plant is part of the Mint family. It does well in herb gardens, butterly gardens or as part of a native flower garden. Where there are hot summers it likes part shade but in colder climates it prefers full sun. It needs a rich soil and to have garden water to thrive to its best potential.
