Plant Highlights

This medium sized Manzanita is distinguished by it's dark red almost purple bark and deep pink flowers. This evergreen shrub delights hummingbirds, butterflies and bumblebees who are attracted to the bell shaped pink flowers that cover the plant in late December, early January. Baby Bear has a reputation as a shrub that is easy to grow and tolerates most soils. It will reach 6'-8' with a similar spread. Ideal as a hedge or foundation shrub.
