Plant Highlights

The Octopus Agave lives up to its name by growing arching, twisted leaves that give the plant the look of an octopus or huge spider. The pale green to yellow rosettes can grow to 6 feet wide and each of the leaves 3-4 inches wide. The leaves are fleshy, deeply channeled and have a single long spine at the end. This species of Agave will bloom when it is 7 to 15 years old. This plant is a unique specimen plant in the landscape and also is striking displayed as a single specimen in a pot.
