'Louis Edmunds' is a dense, evergreen shrub growing to 6' high and with a huge spread up to 25'. It is fast growing, it may need to be pruned to control shape and growth. Leaves are dark green and flowers bloom sea-blue in March and April.Provide this ceanothus plenty of room and you will be delighted with its performance. Plant in full sun in coastal gardens and part shade in inland sites.
