Plant Highlights

This uncommon little sage is endemic to the Mojave desert’s Creosote Bush Scrub and Joshua Tree Woodland. It has bright fuzzy green leaves and lovely little sky blue flowers in the spring. Mojave sage will grow to 2 to 3 feet high and wide. It will do well in a desert garden with well draining soil. As with other desert plants, it will appreciate a monsoon-like washing off of its leaves every week or so in the summer. Birds, butterflies and hummingbirds will be happy to see this in your garden.
