Centennial is considered a hybrid between Baccharis pilularis and Baccharis sarothroides. This large bushy evergreen has brilliant green stems which give it a rounded profile. It is exteremely heat an drought tolerant. If the shrub becomes woody, prune in the winter. Limiting water after the plant is established encourages dense growth.
