Native to California, the western edge of Nevada and Baja, Mexico, Asclepias eriocarpa is sometimes called California Milkweed or Woolly-pod Milkweed.This plant is a drought tolerant forage source for the Monarch butterfly and Striated Queen. This species has large woolly leaves resembling lamb's ears. Woolly-pod Milkweed gets 1'-3' high and 1' wide. A great plant for a California habitat garden.
