Plant Highlights

A green perennial grass-like plant that grows along creek beds. It looks very similar to Carex sopissa, with teh same clumping form that makes for a great accent plant, or to plant between rocks and boulders for a streambed effect. We are testing Carex senta in patio containers in full shade and they are doing well. Senta grows in all soil types. You can tell the difference between Carex senta and Carex spissa (or some say they can!) because senta is slightly smaller and brighter green than spissa.
