Walter Andersen Nursery's San Diego store is the headquarters of Walter Andersen Nurseries. Walter Jr. and many other family members still call this store home. Opened in 1969 after moving from our location on Rosecrans, the San Diego store is full of history and many wonderful products and people! The San Diego Store is located near the intersection of Barnett Avenue and Pacific Highway at 3642 Enterprise Street.For the past 30 years the building has seen Walter Andersen Nursery grow many fold. Still keeping to the high standards of customer service, quality, and selection that Walter Andersen Sr. started with in 1928. Walter Andersen Nursery has the greatest selection of plant material in San Diego. Our special order service can find most plants if we don't have it in stock. Fertilizers, books, chemicals, statuary and gifts are just a few of the items that round out our inventory at the San Diego store. If you like to garden, you'll love Walter Andersen Nursery.
