Plant Highlights

The California Creeping Snowberry is a lowgrowing, spreading deciduos shrub that prefers heavily shaded ravines and northern, cooler slopes. This shrub has light green leaves and produces pink flowers that form berries in the late spring. The berries attract Thrashers and the flowers are loved by hummingbirds and butterflies. This shrub prefers heavy shade and nees water 1 to 2 x a month, going completely deciduos at the first sign of the hot weather. This shrub has good fire tolerance and proforms well as a roundcover or with other water loving, ravine species
