This medium sized Agave forms a perfectly symmetrical rosette of gray leaves. The stiff leaves have needlelike thorns at the tips and catclaw teeth along the edges so avoid planting this near walks or entryways.  This would make a commanding accent for a corner planting or an unique container plant.  It will flower yellow on the top of a 12' spike.  This Agave clumps  is  almost stemless  and grows in colonies.  It will grow rapidly for 8 to 25 years  then flower and die.  However  it is usually surrounded by pups to generate new plants.
