Eriogonum fasciculatum var polifolium 'Margarita FOG' bears white flowers from spring into summer  turning pink  then chocolate brown in fall. This grey leafed subshrub grows to 2-4 ft wide by 2-3 feet tall. Use as a focal point in a container or rock garden or use in a border garden or to edge a pathway. all buckwheats are an important source of nectar for native bees  insects and butterflies. Birds and mammals appreciate the seeds and shelter. Plant in well-drained soil  and provide occasional water in summer. Hardy to -20 degrees F.
