The Olney's bulrush is a waterloving  pond and stream edge grass  known for its easy adaptablility to the soil and natural erosion and biofiltration benefits. This garss is tall  upright  and grows in a spreading pattern  makingit a good mulch or compost  source. The flowers are round  hotdog-like tails that are brown with seeds that have a soft bristly seeds in the summer. They are commonly found in Marshes or stream side locations.
