Snapdragon Vine (Maurandella antirrhiniflora) is a rare California native perennial herb found throughout Southern California. It is a fast-growing, moderately long-lived plant that forms a low, rounded shape, reaching about 8 inches tall. Its most active growth occurs in spring, when it produces striking flowers that bloom from mid-spring. The foliage is medium green and deciduous, disappearing during the drier seasons. Snapdragon Vine can be found growing across a wide range of elevations, from sea level to approximately 8,500 feet.
