The Matilija Poppy 'White Cloud' variety is similar to Romneya coulteri  having a fuzz on the calyx and thinner  narrower leaves. We find this selection to stay a little more compact  have profuse  delicately scented flowers and a slightly longer flowering season. The 6" wide flowers are precision white with a yellow  round center. 'White Cloud' foliage is an attractive bluish green. These bushes spread via rhizomes and can be utilized in a beautiful hedge  if properly controlled.
